The collaborative project between UC Santa Barbara, the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden, and Cate School will carry out habitat restoration in the Toro Canyon watershed by eradicating invasive plants from eight acres of riparian woodland along Garrapata Creek and revegetating the site with native riparian species. The collaborative project will conserve and enhance threatened native California plant and animal communities while providing public educational opportunities.
